About Me
Hello, I’m Adam, the heart and hands behind Adam’s Acre. After nearly 30 years of teaching, I decided to pursue my lifelong passion for gardening and launched Adam’s Acre on the 1st of September, 2024. I wanted a career where I could be outside, stay creative, and make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
Transitioning to this new path was a leap of faith, but I love every moment—rain, hail, or sunshine!

Starting a business from scratch was both a challenge and an adventure. I’ve navigated learning curves and embraced every opportunity to grow.
What drives me is the joy of helping others transform their gardens and seeing the impact this has on their lives and the community. It’s incredibly rewarding to combine hard work, creativity, and a love for the outdoors in a way that uplifts others.

Milo & Otis
No introduction to Adam’s Acre would be complete without mentioning Milo and Otis, my delightful pug puppies who are very much a part of the team. These Therapy Dogs bring smiles wherever they go, accompanying me on some jobs and spreading cheer to clients and communities alike. Milo and Otis are friendly, inquisitive, and love a fuss, which makes them a hit with everyone they meet.
In fact, their warmth and charm have even led them to do ‘work experience’ in a residential home for older adults with learning difficulties, where they were a massive hit! They’re my constant companions and bring an extra layer of joy to the work I do through Adam’s Acre.

Milo
Milo is always curious about what’s happening on-site, often investigating tools and materials.
While she might not always be able to dig holes, her presence always brings a smile and lightens the workload.

Otis
Otis is a steady companion, content to observe as work progresses.
Whether it’s sitting beside freshly trimmed hedges or supervising lawn care, she’s a reassuring presence for both me and my clients.
